Guest tony smith Posted May 18, 2018 Hello, can someone please help me identify a car. It was the late sixties when a friend sold me a Wolseley for the tiny sum of £5. He told me it was a 1946 ex-police car but I can't confirm that, all I can say is that it had suicide doors, the throttle was between the brake and clutch and from what I can remember it clocked 90 down Sutton Valence hill in Kent (on bald remoulds......!). I'm sure that the badge read 'six ninety' or 'sixteen ninety'. I've looked on the net for that model but it dosen't fit the year and most interiors show the conventional layout for the pedals.......any ideas ??? best regards, Tony
Steve Darnell 0 Posted May 18, 2018 Hi Tony, I have 15 Wolseleys, absolutely none of which have the exhilarator between the brake & clutch. I do, though, own a 1928 Lagonda, which has the go-faster pedal in the middle.
Danny 3 Posted May 18, 2018 Some Morris vehicles had that pedal configuration, like this one. Danny
