I was interested to see some figures for how many Riley 2.6 cars are known about to the RMC:
http://rileymotorclub.createforumhosting.c...oad-t14-15.html

UK - 15 licenced with another 5 SORN
10 in New Zealand; 3 in Germany; 2 in Switzerland; 2 in Sweden; 2 in the USA; 1 in Bulgaria; 1 in Australia; 1 in Zimbabwe; 1 in South Africa.

How does that compare to the Isis and 6/90?

Now this sounds like a challenge for me to tackle!

I am surprised at just how few Riley 2.6's survive I thought there would have been more than 43.

As for Wolseley 6/90's (I don't have any figures for Morris Isis sorry), there are 109 known to exist. Of these:

21 are licenced and presumed ‘on the road’
3 are declared as SORN (Statutory Off Road Notice)
17 are recorded as ‘Unlicensed’ with the DVLA (2 of these are showing as 'Exported')
25 are known to exist but are not registered with the DVLA. This includes 8 which have had their original registration numbers transferred

43 are outside the UK and spread around the world thus:

27 Australia
4 Canada
3 Switzerland
2 Hawaii
1 Belgium
1 Eire
1 Hungary
1 New Zealand
1 Norway
1 Poland
1 Spain

I am sure that there are many more 6/90s, and indeed many more of all types of Wolseleys, but unfortunately we only know of the 1 in New Zealand!

If you know of any more please PM me the details and I can add them to the list and we can have a more accurate database.,

All we need is Car Number, Engine Number Registration Number, but any other information would be helpful.

...and I was thinking that 43 was a fairly good number from a production run of only 2000 cars. More have come to light recently in the UK, which is good.

howmanyleft.co.uk shows 36 Isis + 7 SORN, but that is not any sort of conclusive search...

Is the body of the riley 2.6 interchanbeable with that of the 6/90? Having a few probs with the 6/90 rebuild and am going to possibly need a series 3 boot lid. (Why didn't Wolseley ever make things easy to re assemble?)
