This came through on the bush telegraph this morning.

QUOTE
There is a Morris Isis that is coming available in the St Catherines area of Ontario. This is a car I sold to the current owner about 14 years ago. Prior to that it came out of Winnipeg and was and is a solid example. About 5 years ago the owner drove it into dry storage so the car should continue to be in good shape. The original tourquoise paint could be left as is or redone. The interior should be original and in good shape and the 6 cy motor may need some TLC due to sitting for about 5 years. It is an automatic and the car ran strongly prior to being put away. Needless to say this is a very rare car more so than its Austin counterparts.
The owner is asking $3000 Cdn and is pretty firm, if I had the room I wouldn't be posting it here.
If you are interested give me a call 905 632 6582 or an email as the owner does not want to be bothered by timewasters so I am doing him a favour and have no financial interest in the transaction even though the car is still in my name after all these years. I currently do not have pictures, but they can be acquired.

I think that's got your name written all over it!

Would that make it 'The Blue Grapefruit'?

It's an automatic, isn't that pretty rare?
Anyways, I don't have the time/money right now.

Yes, pretty rare - I wouldn't mind adding the chassis number details to my records if they are available?

Cheers, Howard.

Thanks for that Matt - Just in case you haven't already worked that out, it's an Isis (S), Dark Blue (D), North American market (4), Synthetic paint (1), and it's quite an early car with the 7705 ch.no.

I was sent a picture many years ago of a two tone blue Isis in Canada - I wonder if it's the same one?

On another note - I have been sent a picture of an Oxford Traveller languishing in Langley BC - is that the one you just missed? Or another (IMG:http://www.wolseleyforum.com/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Thanks for the interpretation, I was close (IMG:http://www.wolseleyforum.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I do not think that is the same car. The Isis for sale was bought in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and stayed there until moving to Ontario. The car in the photo has BC license plates.

I think I know of that Traveller, it's been up for sale a couple times I believe. Too far for me though.
