Hey there,

Just curious about international membership to the LOCI. I understand there would be zero social aspects for myself living in New Zealand, but am keen to join up with regards to spares etc. I assume some of the membership fee goes towards buying and producing new spares etc?

Do you accept online payments or only cheques?

Cheers,

-Indy

I have been an overseas member of LOCI for years(actually decades) now. Nowadays not a problem to pay membership fee(by internet banking IBAN) or ordering spare parts from Tony, the great spares emporium in Blackpool.

Indy, thanks for your enthusiasm! (IMG:http://www.wolseleyforum.com/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Chris Linford is absolutely correct, most of our international members pay by IBAN and we are launching a PayPal/Debit/Credit Card option on the website www.landcrab.net in 2012.

If you contact Membership Secretary Rob Galloway robert.galloway2@tesco.net he will get things moving for you.

Like Chris I am a big fan of Tony Wood's "emporium" in Blackpool - truly an Aladdin's Cave of all things Landcrab! I took delivery of a consignment from Tony yesterday to move on with my own rebuild.

Cheers,

You won't regret it Indy, I have also been a customer of the emporium and found the service and knowledge to be first class.

Tony is definitely in the "guru" category. Just don't try and contact him when "Corrie" is on.

Good advice!

For anyone not familiar with the world's longest running TV soap opera "Corrie" is broadcast on Mondays 19.30-20.00 & 20.30-21.00; Thursdays 20.30-21.00; Fridays 19.30-20.00 & 20.30-21.00 (GMT/BST).

Well got the form ready, just need to sort out the money transfer.

Not entirely keen on paypal, anyone else ever used it? safe?

Could do a direct transfer, but the bank wants $20 for that service! (IMG:http://www.wolseleyforum.com/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Don't have a cheque book, also isn't the UK getting rid of cheques in 2013 or something?

I'll go the paypal route once I get a new card.
