Oh dear - flood? You may not want to say what happened.

Teenagers! What time would you like me to pick them up? We'll put them in the container for the night.

Sort of - we foster and the lad with us short term somehow managed to disengage the overflow on the bath. He's a big lad so displacement, Archimedes etc led to massive spillage. He's very upset, but let's face it, it was an accident.

So if I remember my science, the weight of the lad should be equal to the weight of the displaced ceiling. What was in the room below? And is that also a candidate for the skip?

That's half of our kitchen. Being colour blind, the dazzle camouflage wallpaper prevents me finding chocolate digestive biscuits and tins of spam, according to MrsP.

We had some time before the ceiling actually fell, so we managed to clear that end of the kitchen in time. Plasterer has been round today and cleared the rest of the wreckage which hadn't come down at the time, so what's left needs to dry fully before the new ceiling can go up.

We came home from our last caravanning trip to find that the drains had backed up and the toilet had overflowed all over the bathroom floor. The Insurance Co. said that they would cover the damage to Mats, towels etc. (less the "Exess amount). but not any plumbing repairs. I spent the last month replacing the bathroom floor instead of getting on with the Wolseley' It just wasn't worth claiming.
