Good spot Bob - this car was restored in the UK some years back and featured in Classic and Sportscar (along with my own (IMG:http://www.wolseleyforum.com/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) ) before being for sale for around 10k IIRC.

I'll check later...

Car belonged to Harrogate solicitor David Salter, and he was the man who had it restored by Pool Lane Classics at a cost of around 20k.
David has a nice collection of more 'desirable' classics, but had a hankering for the car he remembered his uncle having I think - so started a quest to find a restorable example. He actually ended up buying two and using the first one he found for spares, which incidentally is the one restored by yours truly and offered for sale all over the internet last year (Green over Cream Series II - cream leather). Again, if I remember correctly - the car was in his possession for a couple of years following restoration, then passed to a dealer and maybe another owner before ending up in Ireland.

Anyway, still looks nice - particularly the interior!

If you're interested, it's the Feb 2010 Classic and Sportscar.

BEFORE restoration! It looks really good already!

And the spares car looks pretty good except for the bit missing...

I can't find a date for the 'old' picture, but am guessing it was in the 90s - and yes, it looks pretty good. I know that during the rebuild the car had a full re chrome and re trim, plus paint and an engine rebuild; the wings must have been poor as they cut the trailing edge off both sides on the spare car!

The 'spares' car was quite rotten (there are many pictures on the web if you search for Isis, as the next but one owner from me posted the whole CD I gave him!)
